Bidding in an Auction
After entering the auction you will see the auction screen that shows all the lots on the current page; their lot numbers, and their current price in your selected bidding basis. The bid increment is 1c/kg Greasy.
To place a bid on the lot you simply click the lot number button. You will be given the option of placing 1, 2 or 5 bids on the lot. Click on the number of bids you wish to place on the lot. Once your bid has been validated, the auction will show you that you are holding the bid by changing the background of the lot number to a LIGHT BLUE color.
Once bidding has finished on the current page a timer will appear which counts down the number of seconds remaining for the page. A bid on any lot will reset that timer. If no bids are entered in that time, the page will close and you will be automatically taken to the Sales results page, where you can view the final results for that page. You also have 2 minutes to review your limit bids on the next page.
